Hi, guys. Long time no see. I wanna write about my recent situation on my blog, so I will.
These days, I had a lot of events and many feelings. First of all, it's about CCS, which is a club supporting education of foreign residents in Tokyo. I cannot write about CCS a lot because it has lots of private information of residents kept secret. However, what I can write is that I am in charge of a student who has the entrance examination next winter. Of course, I have never experienced supporting such a student (I used to be a student preparing for an examination...but I could not support MYSELF!) , so I am a little bit nervous and feel some pressures on my shoulders now. However, all I can is not be afraid of that, but go forward with a student. Even if I am in serious trouble and do not know what should I do next, I have a good adviser all the time and he can help me. I believe that this experience will make me better as a good teacher in the future.
The next thing is about studying abroad after graduating from ICU. In this spring, I decided to take a postgraduate course in UK to get master degree. I told my decision to my mother, and she agreed to that and encourage me. Thus, I was really grateful for her and I started to look for university suitable to me. Through search for universities, I found many things, for example, it costs very much to lead a life in UK, especially London, I need high points in IELTS to meet entrance requirements, I have to keep GPA over 3.0 in ICU, or I can get scholarship from JASSO conditionally. Among them, I think it really difficult to get high score in IELTS. For now I am interested in history, especially from Medieval to Modern age, so I will take a course of history in UK, and I have already picked up some potential universities; Queen Mary University of London, University of Glasgow, University of York and University of Kent. Queen Mary is the most favorable one for me because Q.M. has a strong point in History and it has a traditional campus and many authorized professors. However, I heard that it costs too much to live in London, but if I really want to study there, maybe my parents will understand me. University of Glasgow is also an attractive choice. This is because I heard that Scotland is a wonderful place which has comfortable atmosphere and beautiful nature and cities, and also U.G. has a long history and traditional campus which attracts me. In addition, it is a big point that it is relatively cheaper to live in Glasgow than in London. However,as I described, I face a huge problem to enter postgraduate course, which is English entrance requirement. Regardless of any university, if I choose history course, I must get 7.0 points in IELTS. I have never taken IELTS, but my present score might be 6.0 at most. I am really worried about that, so I talked to the counselor about that in UK universities fair. She recommended to me that I should take many English course in ICU and get high grade and it is a study for IELTS for now. Her advice stimulated me and I am rethinking about my course schedule. Probably, I will be tired of English courses but I will do my best for my future. Today's fair was really stimulating, so I am very lucky to take part in this fair. I will not give in!!
Last, these days I have a lot of things I want, for example, a wallet, an ultrabook and iphone5. However, I have little money to buy my personal stuffs. Therefore, I am looking for part-time job to make money. Except a wallet, the rest of them; an ultrabook and iphone5 are necessary for me from now on because I have to keep contact with some people officially and I will have more opportunities to work with computer for classes in ICU. Anyway, I have to get a job as soon as possible. I'm gonna be busy, but keep it up.
These are my present situation. If I wanna write something, I will post on my blog again. Good by:)
